ROBOKICKS STEM CAMP

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an international competition organized by FIRST for elementary to middle school students. Students engage in hands-on STEM experiences, which help them gain confidence, expand their knowledge, and create learning habits. The three divisions of the FLL encourage young people to experiment and develop their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM education and robotics.
Summer of 2024, Master Lee's Martial Arts hosted an FLL camp with Beaver Bots for elementary kids to experience the world of robotics.

Introduction to CAD

During this program, students were introduced to the topic of CAD and went through beginner lessons on how to work on CAD. Students were taken through an interactive lesson plan which was taught through both physical and visual aspects and timings were from 3 to 4:30 pm. Our library camp made way for youth exploration in the fields of 3D printing and design.

INTRO INTO FIRST

In our introductory lesson about First and robotics, we taught students about what First is, their motifs, and how each division in First works. Students were also introduced to the subject of robotics through interactive activities with Lego Spike Prime robots to help demonstrate the activities done in FLL and a mini "history" lesson about the early days of robotics.
