The First® Tech Challenge is a program that helps students to build the mindset of an engineer. FTC teams build, design, and code robots to compete against other teams. FTC encourages STEM driven students to develop better leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. 

Every September, FIRST offers a new game challenge for the school year. Teams have around 6 weeks to develop a robot that matches the game’s requirements. After building the robot, teams organize games and collaborate with other teams during FTC tournaments to earn points during the competition and team evaluation.
